Topshop Ballet Flats

Once upon a time, Lady A met Lady B on a sunny Spring day.  "Oh Lady B," gushed Lady A,  "I am SO glad it's not February any more.  In fact, I'm so glad I think I'll celebrate the start of March with a dance in my new Topshop ballet flats. They're just so comfortable!"

"Oh you should," said Lady B.  "I must say, your dancing has definitely improved.  I no longer cringe to be seen with you throwing shapes on the floor.  It must be all of those New York City Ballet workouts you're doing.  You're so light on your feet and WOAH do you have abs!"

Lady A almost rolled on the floor laughing.  "Oh yes, Lady B, I'm doing workouts alright, but I just can't stop eating these Chocolate Ice-Cream Cones!  It's still a little chilly for the real thing, so these are perfect for just now!"  

Gower Cottage Brownies

"Yes, it's still quite chilly and I wouldn't be surprised if we still have snow this side of Easter.  I've kept my fabulous Le Chameau wellies out just in case.  After all, K-Middy is wearing them and that's enough for me." 

"Speaking of mothers," Lady A said, "I hope you're remembering it's Mother's Day on the 10th March. It's enough having to remind my husband about it, but I shouldn't have to remind you."

Lady B was offended.  "How could you think I would forget?  I've already bought her present!  I've arranged for a box of Gower Cottage Brownies to be delivered to her every month. With them,  she'll totally forgive me for that turquoise Essie nail polish stain on her cream sofa..."  

"You know, to save future nail polish dramas, you really should take a trip to the Mal Maison Spa.", advised Lady A, who's hands showed off her Accessorize stacking rings perfectly.  "The angels at Mal will make your hands beautiful, especially now that they're emerging out of gloves."

"Actually Lady A," retorted Lady B, "you've offended me so much with that Mother's Day comment that instead of going there, I'm going to go home and seek solace with a cup of Taylor's Blackberry and Elderflower Tea in my utterly beautiful Wedgewood teacup.  

"See if I care", said Lady A, who was trying to hide her indignation. "I'm off to watch The Wedding Shop on ITVPlayer.  All of these bridezillas are hilarious."

And with that, Lady A and Lady B went to nurse their hurts and cast sceptic looks over their next meeting on 1st April....
